One of the most influential names in the fashion industry, Peter Lindbergh truly understands how to photograph women and showcase the raw and truest form of beauty. The German photographer’s creative authority in the industry has him working with top names across the board and in-turn, creating unforgettable, images. His cinematic style enables him to tell beautiful stories with his camera and he believes “the responsibility of photographers today to free women, and finally everyone, from the terror of youth and perfection.”[
He first shot Rosamosario in British Vogue’s May 2012 issue, in the editorial ‘Real life is elsewhere’, that paid tribute to the beauty of the human form. Rather than fashion models, this shoot features sporty body types and athletic builds of British Olympians. They moving and using their bodies as a form of expression in the pictures that have a vintage documentarian feel to them. Styling touches add an abundance of tulle and high fashion silk pieces from Rosamosario creating the element of fantasy in this beautifully unique shoot.

Then in 2016, for Vogue Italia, Lindbergh shot superstars of the modelling world, Lara Stone and Freja Beha Erichsen. The ethereal shoot shows the two of them running through a natural woodland setting posed in Rosamosario slips and robes. Lindbergh captures natural elements of the surroundings such as, fog and light leaks through the trees, that frame Lara and Freja like majestic angels. Truly playing with and in-keeping to the artistry of Lindbergh’s story telling style.
