Mcdean, started out his career assisting legendary photographer, Nick Knight. He has since become an influential photographer in his own right by gathering a large portfolio of beautiful fashion campaigns and celebrity portraits. 

We love his 2007 shoot with W MAG ‘Pearls to die for’. The seductive yet strong photos show the model wearing high waisted Rosamosario lingerie. Intensely alluring, we love the daring nature of this editorial. Styling elements such as nipple pasties really bring a fun yet naughty side out in these high glamour images.

The 2012 ‘Hot to Trot’ editorial has the same strong aesthetic however, it challenges convention by bringing a bright, hyper-surrealism to the idea of suburbia. Barbie meets The Desperate Housewives in this trivial portrayal of the modern-day woman. Heavily stylised by hair and make-up, yet telling a story that is beautiful to watch. The use of Rosamosario high waisted garments is a perfect addition to the styling and we love ‘the wow factor’ they adds to this ode to the glamour of a Surburban woman.
