A floor-skimming skirt in black floral lace, cut close through the hip and finished with a scalloped hem. Fine, feminine and made to be worn over lingerie or on its own. Made in the Rosamosario atelier in Milano.

The skirt is lace at its most graceful. Dense floral embroidery on a sheer ground follows the body from the low waist to the ankle, with a soft scalloped edge at the hem and a delicate waistband in black. The pattern shifts with every step, giving the silhouette depth and movement.

Wear it the way it was designed: layered over the matching brief or a bodysuit for a couture evening look, or over a fitted slip or a nude underlayer for a more discreet effect. It pairs just as well with a satin corset or a simple bodysuit and heels.

Fit and care

• Fit: model wears size small and she is 175 cm tall
• Care: hand wash cold with a gentle detergent or take to a specialist dry cleaner. Do not wring or tumble dry. Dry flat, away from direct heat. Store folded in tissue paper to protect the lace.
